The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Jamui Mahila P.S. Case No.24 of 2017 registered under Sections 323, 341, 504, 498(A) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the husband. The informant herself alleged in the F.I.R. that marriage was solemnised 30 years ago. She did not make any allegation of demand of dowry and torture. Some dispute arose due to land dispute and on account of which the informant lodged the case making the petitioner and all the members of the family of the petitioner as accused. Considering the facts that marriage of the informant was solemnised 30 years ago even then the informant filed the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.690 of 2019(2) dt.16-01-2019 2/2 case under Section 498A I.P.C. against her husband and other in-laws, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in connection with Jamui Mahila P.S. Case No.24 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
