The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kako P.S. Case No. 88 of 2020 registered under Sections 304-B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case merely on suspicion. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending that petitioner is the husband of the deceased. He is named in the first information report. There is allegation against the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13288 of 2021(7) dt.07-04-2022 2/2 that he killed his wife for demand of dowry. Hence, petitioner does not deserve to be enlarged on anticipatory bail. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the opposite party, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
