Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kadwa (Balia Belon) P.S. Case No. 227 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under section 30(a) Bihar Prohibition of Excise Act.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that merely on suspicion petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He has no concern with liquor in question. There is no independent witness to support the prosecution case. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 03.07.2018.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56379 of 2018(2) dt.20-09-2018 2/2 bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of 2nd Additional District Judge-cum-Special Judge of the Excise and Prohibition Act, Katihari in connection with Kadwa (Balia Belon) P.S. Case No. 227 of 2018.
