The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with Marauna P.S. Case No. 30 of 2014 registered under Sections 25(1-B)(a) and 26 of the Arms Act. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide order dated 21.11.2014 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 42256 of 2014.
It is contended that though the petitioner is in custody since 03.05.2014, no witness has been examined in support of the prosecution till date.
Regard being had to the undue delay caused in
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6997 of 2016 (3) dt.02-03-2016 2 / 2 production of witnesses, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Supaul in connection with Marauna P.S.
