The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Begusarai (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 79 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

In the written report, the informant has alleged that he intercepted one truck loaded with illicit liquor and the person sitting on the aforesaid truck managed to run away. During the course of investigation, police recorded confessional statement of this petitioner while he was in custody in another case thereafter remanded the petitioner in the present case.

Petitioner is in custody since 17.11.2018.

Considering the aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Begusarai in connection with Begusarai (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 79 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
