1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned GP-14.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant writ application has been filed for seeing quashing of the order dated 11.12.2024 (Annexure P/6) passed by the District Magistrate, Begusarai in Arms License Case No. 30 of 2024 whereby the application filed by the petitioner seeking arms license has been rejected.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner had earlier also moved an application before the District Magistrate, Begusarai seeking an arms license and the said application came to be rejected against which the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.700 of 2025(2) dt.23-01-2025 2/2 filed an appeal before the Divisional Commissioner, Munger and the Divisional Commissioner after hearing the parties remanded the matter back to the Collector, Begusarai for adjudicating the issue afresh. It is submitted that the District Magistrate called for a report from the concerned Superintendent of Police and the Superintendent of Police submitted a report which according to the petitioner is in his favour, but still the District Magistrate, Begusarai rejected the arms application by the order which is impugned in the instant writ application.

4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that petitioner has rushed to this Court without availing his alternative remedy of appeal before the Divisional Commissioner.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned State counsel, the Court finds no merit in the writ application, it is accordingly dismissed.
