1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs and order/orders in the nature of mandamus for directing and commanding the Respondents to pay the arrear of salary for the period of September, 2019 to August, 2020 which was withheld by the Respondents and further to pay the arrear of salary from the date of removal14 to joining in
Patna High Court CWJC No.1725 of 2024(2) dt.29-02-2024 2/2 service of the petitioner i.e. 18.3.2020 to 22.7.2023 total 42 months with simple interest of 12% per annum and further to pay the compensation for unnecessary harassment to the petitioner as tune of R.9 lacs and further for any other relief or reliefs for which the petitioner is entitled in the facts and circumstances of the present case."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Bhagalpur for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed, by the petitioner, before the District Magistrate, Bhagalpur, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.
4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
