The petitioner is languishing in custody since 04.09.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379/411 of the Indian Penal Code.
Motorcycle of the informant was stolen when it was suspected that the petitioner committed the theft. Subsequently, petitioner made confession before the police. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner made confession before the police on duress when no recovery has been made from the petitioner. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
