JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 24-08-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the Lalit Narayan Mithila University. Petitioner in the present case is seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) To direct the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for his admission to the post Ph.D course in Hindi subject under EBC category for the year 2019 by which petitioner has qualified all the eligibility criteria for the same.

(ii) To direct the Respondents to give admission in Ph.D course in Hindi subject along with fellowship to the year 2019 or to shift petitioner admission for the next session.

(iii) To direct the respondents to declared marks of EBC category candidates who have been taken admission in Ph.D fellowship course for the session 2019.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Lalit Narayan Mithila University and upon finding that the petitioner could not get a place for his registration as Ph.D. candidate in E.B.C. category because one Mahesh Kumar Chaudhary who had obtained better marks than the petitioner occupied the said place, this Court finds no merit in this writ application. This writ application is dismissed.
