The petitioner seeks regular bail in Sikty P.S. Case No. 226/2018 (Special Case No. 1576/2018), registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

It is alleged in the written report that three persons were coming carrying three bags. Two persons fled away on seeing the police party and this petitioner was arrested. It is alleged that total 99 litres of Nepali wine was recovered from the bags and accordingly seizure list was prepared. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is in custody since 11.12.2018 having clean antecedent.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.160 of 2019(2) dt.18-01-2019 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000 (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Araria in connection with Sikty P.S. Case No. 226/2018 (Special Case No. 1576/2018), subject to the condition that both the bailors will be close relative of the petitioner.
