2. This application is filed for modification of order dated 23.01.2024, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 83758 of 2023.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 23.01.2024, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 83758 of 2023, by which the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail with a direction to surrender before the Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6843 of 2025(2) dt.07-02-2025 2/2 each to the satisfaction of the learned court concerned, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Darihat P.S. Case No. 114 of 2022, subject to conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the petitioner could not furnish the bail bonds before the Court below within the stipulated time because the petitioner is in under custodian of Dr. Rakesh Kumar for treatment from 22.12.2023 to till date.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to extend the time for furnishing the bail bond of the petitioner.

5. In view of the above, let the time to surrender of the petitioner, as ordered on 23.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 83758 of 2023 be further extended by four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

6. Accordingly, the modification application is allowed and the order dated 23.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 83758 of 2023 is modified to the above extent. (Chandra Prakash Singh, J) Shivam/- U T
