The petitioner seeks bail in Semara Chiutaha P.S. Case No. 17 of 2000, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 366 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleged that one Sumitra Devi took his daughter to her house, but on search it transpired that this petitioner took her to delhi for solemnizing marriage. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the victim was recovered. The victim stated that the petitioner took her to delhi, but after two days the brother of the petitioner came and took her to another house where her father was also there. The victim did not complain of any ill-treatment at the hands of the petitioner. The victim appears to be major and has accompanied
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1916 of 2015 (3) dt.02-04-2015 2/2 the petitioner to different places.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner is in jail since 23.08.2014, he is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additonal Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bagaha, West Champaran in connection with Semara Chiutaha P.S. Case No. 17 of 2000.
