The petitioner has been arrested in connection with Darbhanga Town P.S. Case No. 228 of 2014 registered under Sections 392 and 411 of Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that petitioner was snatching the motorcycle of the informant at the point of dagger. However, on the hulla, people came and petitioner caught hold at the spot. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in jail custody since 24.10. 2014 and he is aged person about sixty years.

Learned counsel for the State however contends that petitioner has been made accused in five cases for offence under Sections 414, 379 of Penal Code except this case. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga, in connection with Darbhanga

Further condition that petitioner will file Hazri in the nearest police station once in a fortnight for one year. Further condition that one of the bailors shall be near relative of the petitioner who will file an affidavit to this effect that petitioner shall not indulge in such activity in future and any case reported against the petitioner then his bail bond shall stand cancelled.
