Patna High Court CWJC No.5298 of 2017(2) dt.13-04-2023 2/3 issuance of a writ in the nature of 'Mandamus' whereby and whereunder commanding and directing respondents to remove the State respondents to remove the illegal encroachment/ occupation from the land having Khata No. 348 and 349 corresponding to Khesra No. 79, 116, 3696, 80,109, 250, 251, 333, 499, 1682, 1968, 2096, 2309, 2390, 2363, 2875, 2906, 34122, 3692, covering total area Six Bighas and 29 Kathas and some Dhurs falling within MauzaRampurwa, Tauzi No.951, Thana No.226, P.S- Manjhwalia, DistrictWest Chamapan which has been illegally encroached by the Private Respondents and further prayer of the petitioner is to hand over the charge of aforesaid property to the petitioner."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
