In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Murar P.S. Case No. 62 of 2018 registered for offences under sections 30(a) of Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

As per allegation, on receipt of confidential information, the Truck was searched which was found loaded with huge quantity of English wine (total 3162 liters). From the motorcycle also, English wine has been recovered. The petitioner is the owner of the motorcycle. Looking to the quantity of wine recovered as also the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.798 of 2019(2) dt.25-01-2019 2/2 inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner, above named, is rejected.
