2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sirari P.S. Case No. 61 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 96, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Sections 8 and 12 of the POCSO Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of kidnapping the daughter of the informant.
4. From the statement of the girl, it appears that she has eloped with the petitioner on her own.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4908 of 2025(3) dt.19-04-2025 2/2 case. The petitioner is in custody since 28.09.2024.
6. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.
7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge-VI-cum-Exclusive Special Judge, POSCO Act, Sheikhpura/ concerned Court in connection with Sirari P.S. Case No. 61 of 2024.
