The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 420 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Junior Engineer has alleged that money receipts in the name of Devendar Sah, Rudal Sah, Heera Mahto and Shakunta Eevi were received but on an enquiry it was found that petitioner is alleged to have issued the money receipts and the receipts are not genuine.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of petitioner figured in the statement of Sanjit Kumar. There is no other evidence to show that the petitioner took money and issued receipts. The petitioner is in jail since

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3285 of 2015 (2) dt.27-01-2015 2/2 21.09.2014.

Having considered the fact that the name of the petitioner came in the statement of Sanjeet Kumar and the money receipt does not bear the signature of the petitioner, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial magistrate, Sikarhana at Motihari, East Champaran in Chairaiya (Shikarganj) P.S. Case no. 88 of 2014.
