JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 25-03-2021 As noted in the order dated 04.03.2021, the petitioner, who originally belongs to B.C. category, joined wedlock with SC category and thereafter she claims that she has become SC category and as such entitled to reservation as SC category.
The law is well settled that the category of reservation cannot change on account of joining wedlock. Since the petitioner born in B.C. category, she remains in B.C. category and for all practical purposes she can avail the benefit of reservation in B.C. category and not in SC Category. In view of the above, the Court does not find any
