The petitioner seeks regular bail in Ishakchak P.S. Case No. 12 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20 and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Sri Akhileshwar Prasad Singh, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submits that the joint house of the petitioner was raided and from there only 6 Kg. Ganja is said to have been recovered in absence of the petitioner. Up-to 20 Kg. Ganja is more than small quantity but less than commercial quantity for which punishment is up-to ten years. Petitioner is in jail since 30.03.2014.

Having considered the fact that the petitioner has already remained in jail for recovery of 6 Kg. of Ganja and he has

No.2829 of 2015 (2) dt.22-01-2015 got no criminal antecedent, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Bhagalpur in connection with Ishakchak P.S. Case No. 12 of 2014.
