The petitioner being the husband of the informant is languishing in custody since 23.09.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 323, 379, 406, 504, 498A of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
The basic accusation is of torture for nonfulfillment of the dowry demand. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is still ready to keep the informant as wife with full dignity and honour.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3808 of 2015 (02) dt.29-01-2015 2/2 On instruction learned counsel for the informant submits that offer of the petitioner is acceptable to the informant.
Considering the present stand of the parties, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Thawe P.S. Case No. 59 of 2014.
