2. Petitioner apprehends their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 304B/201/34 and other ancillary sections of the Indian Penal Code 3 . It is a case of dowry death . The daughter of the informant was married with co-accused Deepak Mahto on 19.07.2022 and thereafter she went to her sasural. After some

No.1912 of 2025(2) dt.31-01-2025 2/3 time of marriage , this petitioner along with other co-accused persons started demanding dowry and due to non-fulfillment of the same , all the accused persons killed the daughter of informant and cremated her dead body with a view to disappear the evidence .

4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that petitioner is maternal uncle (Mama) husband of the deceased. He is simply victim of over implications. He is separate in mess and property and has got no concern with the affairs of deceased and her husband. Specific accusation is against the husband of the deceased who is already in custody . Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5 . Learned counsel for the State opposed the bail petition .

6 Considering the aforesaid facts, clean antecedent of the petitioner and other circumstances of the case , in the event of arrest or surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Motihar East Champaran in connection with Kotwa P.S. Case No. 183 of 2023 , subject to the conditions laid down
