Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 489(B)/489(C)/34 of the I.P.C.

According to FIR, the petitioner had supplied 45 counterfeit currency notes of Rs.2,000/- denomination to the coaccused and soon thereafter the police searched and seized the said amount.

Submission is that nothing was recovered from possession of the petitioner nor there is any allegation of use of the said currency. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Investigation of the case is already complete.

No.2000 of 2020(2) dt.16-01-2020 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Sabour Case No.324 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below as well as petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the Court and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
