JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 19-09-2022 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ/order/direction, particularly in the nature of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to release the N.P. Bore Rifle deposited with Hind Arms Store, Motihari, after death of the father of the petitioner, since the petitioner has been granted Arms License No. 607/Chhauradano P.S. in Case No. 32/2016 by the Collector, East Champaran, Motihari, pursuant to the order dated 28.03.2016 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 5396 of 2016."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District

Patna High Court CWJC No.1088 of 2020(2) dt.19-09-2022 2/2 Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari i.e. the respondent no. 2 for redressal of his aforesaid grievances.

Liberty so sought is granted.

It is needless to state that in case an application is made before the respondent no. 2 by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today, appropriate orders thereon, shall be passed, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
