The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Beldour P.S. Case No.14 of 2020 registered under Sections 341, 323, 324, 326, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. There is a land dispute between the parties. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail by contending that the petitioner and other accused persons are alleged to have cut the soil from the land of the informant and on objection, they assaulted the informant and his son as a result of which the informant and his son sustained injuries. Therefore, the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail.
