To issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing and commanding the Respondent authorities to extend the benefit of women reservation to Petitioner and select her on the post of Homeguard in Home Defense Corps (Grih Raksha Vahini) of Nawada District.
Patna High Court CWJC No.1949 of 2024(2) dt.08-02-2024 2/2 (B). To issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing and commanding the Respondent authorities to put a stay on the ongoing selection process and to publish fresh list of candidates selected for the post of Homeguards in Home Defense Corps (Grih Raksha Vahini) of Nawada District."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Respondents authorities for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
