The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is stated to have assaulted the informant as also his brother with a chhura leading to injuries below the left knee of the informant. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegations as levelled against the petitioner are false and concocted. From perusal of the F.I.R. itself, it would transpire that the alleged injuries are on non-vital part of the body. The petitioner is in custody since 29.7.2020 and has no criminal antecedent.
