The petitioner is not named in the first information report but in course of investigation the Investigating Officer gathered the material to show that ransom call had been made from the mobile of the petitioner and, on the basis of aforesaid fact, the petitioner was made accused in this case. The petitioner is in custody since 23.12.2015 and investigation against him appears to have been completed. Moreover, the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and the said mobile has not been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner.
