2. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 341,323, 498A and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. The allegation in the FIR is that of demand of dowry and torture.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset denies the fact of marriage of the petitioner with the informant. He has submitted that the informant was already married lady and the details has been given in paragraph-9 of the petition. Further, the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5249 of 2025(4) dt.06-08-2025 2/2 informant has also filed a Maintenance Case against the petitioner in the Family Court, Katihar and the present case has also been filed to cause undue harassment of the present petitioner.
5. The learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
6. Considering all the above mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest/ surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/ successor court in Balrampur P.S Case no. 130 of 2022, subject to condition as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.PC.
