The petitioner seeks bail in Morkahi P.S. Case No. 06 of 2014 registered under section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and 25(1-b)A, 26/35 of the Arms Act.
Petititioner was apprehended and from his possession one loaded country made pistol and 20 live cartridges were recovered.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for recovery of one loaded country made pistol and live cartridges the petitioner is in jail since 4.02.2014 but from the perusal of the record it appears that petitioner has got criminal antecedent and seven criminal cases are pending against him. Hence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5746 of 2015 (2) dt.11-02-2015 2/2 same is rejected. However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within six months from the date of receipt /production of a copy of this order.
