====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SHAILENDRA SINGH ORAL ORDER 21-07-2022 The learned counsel for the petitioners is directed to remove all the defects pointed out by the Stamp Reporter within one month.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned APP for the State.

Petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Katra P.S. case no. 295 of 2021 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act. Allegedly, two liters of country made wine and twenty litres of semi-manufactured liquor stored in a plastic bottle was recovered from the house of the petitioner.

No.3478 of 2022(4) dt.21-07-2022 2/2 The main submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioners are that petitioner nos. 2 and 3 are sons of petitioner no. 1 and the petitioners are members of the same family and petitioners have been languishing in jail since 12.11.2021 and petitioners have got no criminal antecedent. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

Having considered the above submissions and mainly petitioners' custody period and also taking into account the quantity of the recovered country made liquor, a lenient approach can be taken in respect of the petitioners' prayer let the petitioners be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of concerned Court in connection with Katra P.S. case No. 295 of 2021.
