Petitioner is accused in connection with Vigilance P.S. Case No. 89 of 2016, Special Case No. 51 of 2016 registered under Sections 7/13(2) read with section (13)(i)(d) of the Prevention and Corruption Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is quite innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is also submitted that in this case, charge has already been framed and petitioner is in custody since 15.09.2016, having no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the period of custody of the petitioner, let the above
