The petitioner filed this writ petition for payment of compensation amount in view of acquisition of land of the petitioner and others.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that lands of the petitioner and other co-sharers were acquired for construction of second Mahatma Gandhi Setu and compensation amount of Rs. 80 lac and odd was fixed. The petitioner is entitled to get Rs. 21 lacs and odd as compensation for the acquisition of land of his share. The petitioner filed petition before the Land Acquisition Authority on 01.08.2019 but no

Having considered the facts, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Land Acquisition Authority to dispose of the petition of the petitioner within one month from the date of receipt of this order and if it is found that petitioner is entitled to get Rs. 21, 46, 797.92/- the same shall be paid to the petitioner through cheque. If there is dispute with regard to apportionment of compensation amount, the Land Acquisition Authority shall refer the matter to the Authority u/s 64 of the Land Acquisition Act, 2013.

With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
