The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 272/273/414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Huge quantity of liquor was recovered from a Bolero vehicle and the petitioner was in the same vehicle. The petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 25.11.2020. Considering the entire facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after framing of the charges so that trial may not hamper on furnishing bail
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14371 of 2021(2) dt.08-07-2021 2/2 bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Phulparas P.S. Case No.536 of 2020 with following conditions: (a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.
(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
