In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Dalsingsarai P.S. Case No. 158 of 2018, registered for the offence under Sections 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is the co-villager of the informant. Allegation has been made that the informant became the bailor of one Nand Lal Das, but this petitioner has kept the photocopy of I.D. proof as well as the rent receipts of the informant and used it in the release of a Truck bearing Registration No.DL1LG/9953.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3424 of 2019(3) dt.20-02-2019 2/2 not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within three weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order without being influenced by the order of this Court.
