In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Sajour (Shahkund) P.S. Case No. 111 of 2015 (G.R. No. 2408 of 15) for offence under Sections 328 and 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

An allegation has been made by the driver of the vehicle that while he was going, some persons from the tempo have intercepted and forcibly entered into the cockpit of the truck, assaulted him as also snatched away Rs. 11,000/- and was intoxicated and became unconscious. When he regain his conscious, he has made statement before the police. The police have raided the house of Chandan Kumar from where the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7457 of 2016 (3) dt.11-04-2016 petitioner was also arrested. On his statement, the vehicle was recovered.

It is a case of highway robbery. This Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, namely, Barun @ Barun Kumar Yadav @ Barun Kumar is rejected.

The petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail before this Court after a period of one year from the date of judicial custody in the present case.
