Petitioner is in custody in connection with Basopatti P.S. Case No. 229 of 2019 for the offence under sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 11.9.2019.

In the instant case there is recovery of 45 liters of liquor.

Learned counsel submits that petitioner has no concerned with the seized liquor and he has been made accused in this case only on the ground of suspicion.

No.2583 of 2020(2) dt.29-01-2020 2/2 Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge Excise Act, Madhubani, in connection with Basopatti P.S. Case No. 229 of 2019.
