2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Barsoi P.S. Case No. 200 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. Prosecution case, in brief is that 25 litres of illicit country made liquor was recovered from the bush.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. No incriminating material has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Petitioner has no concern with the alleged recovery. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4960 of 2025(2) dt.13-02-2025 2/2 for bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the facts of the case, in the event of arrest/surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Session Judge, Exclusive Excise Court No. 2, Katihar in connection with Barsoi P.S.
