The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272, 273, 413 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

There is recovery of about 16 litres of Indian made foreign liquor from the house of the petitioner. Petitioner is previously involved in the same offence.

Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, his payer for anticipatory bail is rejected in connection with Mahua
