The matter has been taken up through virtual Court proceeding.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Huge quantity of liquor was recovered from the hedges near the hill. The person arrested at the time of recovery disclosed that the petitioner was also involved in the business of liquor. Petitioner has got two identical criminal antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 07.11.2020.

No.14320 of 2021(2) dt.08-07-2021 2/2 Considering the lack of material against the petitioner in this case but his criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, be released, after framing of the charges so that the trial may not hamper, on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Aurangabad (Muffasil) Police Station Case No. 198 of 2020, subject to the following conditions:- (a) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the learned court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner. (b) Both the bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below.

(c) The petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the learned trial court.
