The petitioner is accused in connection with Barahampura P.S. Case No. 298 of 2015, registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 379, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The accusation is that petitioner gave rod blow on the head of the informant Roushan Kumar Sharma. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that only one injury was found on the head of the informant caused by hard and blunt substance, which was found simple in nature. Further submission is that petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 01.12.2015.
