The petitioner seeks a direction for release of the vehicle, Hero CD Deluxe, bearing Registration No. BR06AR 2701 which has been seized in connection with Baruraj P.S. Case No. 185/2018 registered under Section 272/273 of the IPC and Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is the owner of the vehicle in question and is willing to furnish

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.2422 of 2018(2) dt.20-02-2020 2/2 sureties for its release. He also submits that as and when required, he shall produce the vehicle in question during the course of the trial.

In view of the aforementioned submission, let the vehicle in question, Hero CD Deluxe, bearing Registration No. BR06AR 2701 pending before the Special Judge, Excise, Muzaffarpur, be released in favour of the petitioner, to the tune of the value of the vehicle in question, papers whereof shall be produced before the Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order.
