2. The petitioner is an applicant for being appointed on compassionate grounds because of death of his father during service.

3. It appears that the death of the father of the petitioner took place on 23.06.2013 and the petitioner made an application for being appointed on compassionate grounds in the year 2015. Despite this, on the application preferred by the petitioner, the Commissioner Tirhut Range, Muzaffarpur sought a clarification from the District Magistrate, Vaishali regarding the age of the petitioner and whether any relaxation could be given in the case of the petitioner. The aforesaid letter of the Commissioner has

Patna High Court CWJC No.1367 of 2019 dt.24-01-2019 2/2 not yet been acted upon and consequently the petitioner has not been considered by the Committee for compassionate appointment.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he shall be satisfied if he is permitted to represent before the District Magistrate, Vaishali and raise his grievance.

5. Let such representation be filed before the District Magistrate, Vaishali within a period of three weeks from today and on receipt of such application, the District Magistrate, Vaishali shall take a decision and communicate the petitioner the aforesaid decision within a period of eight weeks thereafter.

6. With the aforesaid observation/direction the writ petition is disposed of.
