The present application is filed for removing the name of the candidate placed at Serial No. 1 and 2 respectively in the provisional merit list as contained in Annexure-1 to the petition prepared for the appointment of Anganwari Sevika related to Anganwari Centre No. 184, Ward No. 11, Gram Panchyat Raj Bhadian, Block- Nanpur, Sitamarhi further for directing the respondent no. 1 to 4 to place the petitioner at Sr.

Patna High Court CWJC No.2724 of 2019(3) dt.24-06-2024 2/2 No. 1 in the provisional merit list and enquire the real date of birth of the Respondent No. 6.

After some arguments, it transpires to this court that the order passed by the District Programme Officer, Sitamarhi vide Memo No. 2307 dated 26.11.2018, (Annexure-7) petitioner has not preferred appeal before the District Magistrate, Sitamarhi. As such, he is directed to prefer statutory appeal as per the Anganwari Rule within one month.

4. With the aforesaid observations and direction, this writ petition stands disposed off. Delay in filing appeal is hereby directed to be condoned.
