The petitioner seeks bail in Sahar P.S. Case No. 123 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is alleged to have fired in the abdomen of the deceased and consequently the deceased died.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in jail for more than one year, but trial has not yet begun. Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy
