The petitioner seeks bail in Katra P.S. Case 119/2014 under Section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code. The informant named 11 persons including the petitioner and alleged that Ram Nandan Rai came to his grocery shop and demanded articles and, on refusal, the accused persons assaulted the informant.

It is submitted that no specific allegation of assault is made against the petitioner. The petitioner is in jail since 02.08.2014. The petitioner has remained in jail for more than seven months.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like
