The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dhanarua P.S. Case No. 403 of 2019, registered under Section 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

The accusation is that in course of patrolling duty two persons were seen fleeing away on seeing the police party. On chase, they were apprehended, who disclosed their name Shailendra Kumar and Dharambeer Paswan (petitioner). On search, petitioner was found in possession of five live cartridges whereas Shailendra Kumar was found with one loaded country made pistol.

Submission is that the petitioner has no criminal

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1975 of 2020(2) dt.23-01-2020 2/2 antecedent and is in custody since 26.09.2019. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Dhanarua P.S.
