The petitioner seeks bail in Bibhutipur P.S. Case No. 63 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 304B of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after ten years of marriage the wife committed suicide. It appears that the informant and other witnesses have stated that it was the petitioner who killed his wife by strangulating her. The post-mortem report also corroborates the statement as ligature mark was found all around the neck of the deceased.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3564 of 2015 (4) dt.08-04-2015 2/2 enlarge the petitioner above named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
