The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with K.Hat (Madhubani) P.S. Case No.1010 of 2022 registered under Sections 30(a) and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The name of the petitioner surfaced in this case on the basis of confessional statement of apprehended accused. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner by contending that the alleged recovery of 34.5 litres of Indian made foreign liquor has been

Having considered the fact that the alleged liquor of 34.05 litres has been recovered from the vehicle of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected. Harish/- (Arvind Srivastava, J) U T
