JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 25-02-2020 This writ application has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Anganbari Sevika for Centre No. 379 under Panchayat Kapsiya, Ward No. 7 in the district of Madhubani. It is the case of the petitioner that her name figures at Serial No. 1 in the merit list prepared for the said centre but it has wrongly been mentioned that the said centre falls in OBC category whereas, in fact, the area in question is populated unreserved class of people.

Patna High Court CWJC No.953 of 2020(2) dt.25-02-2020 2/2 The selection for the post of Anganbari Sevika is done under the Guidelines issued by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Bihar. The Guidelines so issued provide for grievance redressal mechanism, which the petitioner apparently has not availed.

This application stands disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate authority for redressal of her grievance, in accordance with the procedure prescribed in the Guidelines.
