The petitioner is in custody in connection with Special Case No. 10728 of 2019, arising out of P.R. P.S. Case No. 303 of 2019, for the offence under Sections 30(a) and 56(b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 30.11.2019. He further submits that in the instant case total 450 litres of country made liquor was seized from a car. He further submits that the liquor was not recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner but from the car belonging to the petitioner.

No.1657 of 2020(3) dt.20-03-2020 2/2 criminal antecedent, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise Act, Patna in connection with pecial Case No. 10728 of 2019, arising out of P.R. P.S. Case No. 303 of 2019.

The petitioner is required to tender his service as a volunteer for a period of three months from the date of his release in the process of combating Corona virus. The petitioner is required to report the Civil Surgeon, Patna on his release so that his services may be utilized by the Civil Surgeon, Patna in the process of combating Corona virus.
